Jeremy Marshall Roberts

Jeremy started trading in Fine Wines in 1972, having been given a thorough grounding in the buying and quality control department of Grants of St James’s. He even sold his first cases of vintage port to pay for Rachel’s engagement ring in 1974.  Having been made redundant in 1977, he started his own wine business broking fine wines. Rachel joined him in 1979, as the business expanded supplying pubs, hotels and restaurants with more everyday wines. The wine business, along with the subsequent Hamper business, was sold to an Italian family in 2014. Jeremy continues to advise on their wines. Regularly lectures on wine.
